Thought for the Day, Rejected

"Love is something that you can leave behind you when you die. It's that powerful."
--John (Fire) Lame Deer, Lakota

In other news, my fish FA review was rejected. They said it didn't fit the scope of their journal, though their description of their "perspectives" articles seems like exactly what I did. Oh well, they gave a couple of suggestions to improve the manuscript, so I'll see what I can do and resubmit somewhere else.

That sux, but if you wouldn't have been rejected you wouldn't be perfecting it and sending it to a place that could be even better :o)

That's true, but I'm truly tired of working on this particular manuscript. It's been over three and a half YEARS!

Bummer, but I agree, the writing is done the editing and revising is being done and now is the hard part, the rejection until it is in print (please keep on, as it deserves to be in print, it really does, to add to the body of learning we have).

Oh, it's getting resubmitted, don't worry. When depends on whether or not I conduct a meta-analysis.
